About me

My name is Anish Patel (if you one of my students, you call me Mr Patel!), and I am a history teacher based in Surrey.

I have always been fascinated by History and completed my undergraduate degree in History and Political Economy at King’s College London. I then went on to complete my PGCE in History from the University of Cambridge.

During my time at university, I realised that I was able to learn a huge amount about history through online lectures, courses and videos. This helped me recognise the power of free, high-quality online education, and I began creating videos teaching people about the 20th-century history of different countries around the world.

Through my youtube channel, AP Revision Guide, my aim is to support as many GCSE History students as possible by providing clear, exam-focused revision content. I recognise that there is so much content to learn, and I hope these videos make things a little bit easier!

All this content is all completely free on youtube, with structured revision guides available for students who would like extra support.
